Below are the faces of our 2012-13 School Council.
School Council were awarded their Silver PADL from NCH Cornwall in April 2009. It was our first attempt at the award and we were hoping for Bronze so Silver was an unexpected surprise!
The School Council runs with the help of Mrs Cleaves. In the past the School Council concentrated on the school canteen; members of the School Council met with the management of Chartwells who run the school kitchen and put forward some suggestions from their research. Changes to the drinks menu, bringing back sauce sachets on a Friday and better jelly were among some of the changes!
The second development area was the school playgrounds, where dramatic improvements can now be seen with the construction of the Ark, and the recent addition of decking for Classes 3, 4 and 5.
