Homework:

There is no homework over the holidays.       Please also listen to your child read as frequently as possible.  This makes a huge difference to their confidence and reading ability.  Thank you.

  Our topic this half term is an African Adventure. 

We will be learning all about Uganda.

Jazz Dance We were really lucky on Monday to have a jazz dance class.  It was very energetic and fun.

 

Art As part of our art week the children have been really busy.  We made tribal beads and headdresses (as worn in our performance).  As well as using oil pastels to draw and decorate their own African women based on an African artist.  These pictures are on display in the hall, outside our Classroom, don't they look fantastic.

   

BB Allotment Our vegtables have grown really well, especially the lettuce, spinach and potatoes.  We harvested and had a tasting session.  They all tasted delicious.  mmmmm.

Our Achievers this week is the whole Class, who have worked hard all year.
