  Summer Holidays are on the way but we have Art Week coming up and we cannot wait for the fun, exciting creations /activities planned!!!We look forward to these next week!!!    

Summer Fun!!

The children had a wonderful time at the Summer Fun afternoon.  Sadly the parents won the netball...gggrr we will get you next year!  We also had the X Factor singing to us with  a great dance routine as well.  Fun, fun, fun in the sun.                      

 

Literacy- Class 6 are currently learning the Cornish Language taught by our Yorkshire teacher Mrs.H.V.!!!!!!

Numeracy- We have been practising using a Venn Diagram! Class 6 had to correctly put the information in the different compartments! Children made their own up using odd, even numbers, greater than 60 and factors of 3 etc! Ask your child if this sounds confusing!

 Bird Club

Summer is here finally and so are chicks in our nest boxes! We have a family of Blue Tits in our nest box by the junior playground and Sparrows nesting near the pond! The bird stations have been filled up again as they have managed to guzzle the lot over the holidays even though they had been stocked up! Don't forget kids,  if you take a photo of a bird while you are out and hand it in at Bird Club you could get a prize for the best one at the end of term! So get clicking!

PE	Homework
In class 6 we have our PE lessons on Monday's and Friday's please ensure that your child has their PE kit and are wearing suitable footwear on those days.	Homework is now based around our current topics and is project based. Details will be given out on Friday. Please read with your child every night and comment in their reading record book.
