What is Family Learning?
 
  • A scheme in which parents learn about the strategies and teaching styles taught in school. 
  • Parents learn how school supports and encourages children to achieve in the classroom. 
  • Family Learning helps to develop your child's aspirations in early learning. 
  • Family Learning encourages interactions between parents of children in similar year groups and classes. 
 
Why is Family Learning important?
 
  • It ensures consistency in teaching styles between home and school. 
  • Family Learning empowers parents to support their children effectively. 
  • Support from parents helps to boost their child's attainment and progress. 
  • The process engages parents and extended family members in school life.
