BB Friends are the Bishop Bronescombe PTA, made up of Parents, Carers and Grandparents of pupils currently attending the school.
The primary role of BB Friends is fundraising for the children, whether it be for new play equipment, sports kit for the school teams, Year 6 SATs breakfast, autograph books for the Year 6 leaver, crème eggs for the Easter egg roll, lollies on sports day or the Christmas treat.
We do this fund raising by selling ice creams in the Summer term, putting on school discos for valentines, the end of Summer term and during October, having stalls at the St Luke's Summer and Christmas fairs and lastly the very enjoyable Secret Santa.
New members are always welcome and any help is appreciated either by attending a meeting, helping out at an event or by way of ideas, contacts or donations. So if you would like to be involved in any way, please leave your contact details with reception and one of BB Friends will be in touch.

PTA Report 2016/17
BB Friends would like to thank you all for your help and support throughout 2016/17, which has been a busy year.
In Nov '16 we were able to contribute £1000 towards the new KS1 play equipment.
Dec '16, with your kind donations, we had our very successful Secret Santa fundraising event where the children purchase a gift for a loved one for £1. This is very popular with the children and will run again this year - details to follow in further newsletters.
We continued raising funds with the Autumn disco and our stalls at St Luke's Christmas fair, which enabled BB Friends in Dec '16 to pay £996.56 towards the children's Christmas treat which was Billy Wiz magic show with Christmas gift for KS1 and cinema trip for KS2.
In Feb '17, the Valentine disco went well and Mar '17 we were able to spend £76.00 on crème eggs for all the children to take part in the Easter egg roll.
May '17 we spent £46.95 on the SATS breakfast for Year 6 and in June '17 we purchased autograph books at a cost of £138.25 for Year 6 leavers and contributed £300 towards their prom.
May - July '17 you all helped raise money by purchasing ice creams after school and by visiting our stalls at St Luke's Summer fair.
Now starting our new year 2017/18 we are looking forward to a successful fundraising Autumn disco, Secret Santa and our stalls at St Luke's Summer and Christmas fairs, all raising money for an exciting Christmas treat coming up for the children.
Many thanks again for all your support and a big thank you to Mrs Parry our teacher liaison and Mr Deadman for being our DJ.
