All information about the The Rainbow Academy Trust can be found here:

The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust (rainbowacademy.org.uk)

The CEO of our Trust is Samantha Jones.  Our Headteacher is Mr Stewart Gynn.

We have a 1.5 form entry, consisting of 11 classes, plus our Nursery- ‘BBeebies' - with a total of approximately 360 children and are situated in St Austell on the south coast of Cornwall. Our most recent SIAMS inspection identified us as an ‘outstanding’ Church of England School and St Luke’s Church is also located on-site.

Our ultimate aim is a brilliant education for every child in our care, ensuring we develop all aspects of their potential by providing them with a rich education, focusing upon academic and sporting achievement; fostering creativity and artistic flair; encouraging an inquisitive nature and meeting their needs, regardless of their starting point. We also passionately follow the Thrive and TIS approaches in order that we may support and nurture children experiencing social and emotional difficulties.

Bishop Bronescombe is a Church of England School. The staff at BB operate to a high standard and they are open, warm and honest people who have a desire to enthuse young people about learning.

We aim to increase aspirations for all of our pupils, giving them a broad range of experiences and wider learning experiences, we are committed to providing exciting trips and visits - see our BB 50 things page for more on this! Currently we offer residential opportunities (Y3-6) to Camp Kernow, Hendra, London and Barton Hall - incorporating a variety of sporting, historical, political and cultural activities.

Our topic-based curriculum immerses children in learning, through interesting enquiry and producing real outcomes for real audiences. We also have an effective School Parliaments, who have achieved the silver award for their work across the school community.
