Times Tables Rockstars

Quick recall of multiplication knowledge is fundamental for all children to master in order to be competent mathematicians. It is a vital part of learning to support skills needed as an adult. TT Rock Stars is a fantastic website to help children develop those skills in an engaging way. It is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice and the clever code behind the scenes, works out which times tables facts each pupil is consistently taking longer to answer and then it gradually starts to present these facts more frequently until pupils have mastered them. In addition to this, the children can create their own avatar and purchase outfits and accessories for it using online coins they earn from playing the gigs and tournaments which makes it even more fun! Each child should have their own login, please contact your child's class teacher if you need any further support with this. Please click on the link below to take you to the main login page:

Tracking your Child’s Progress at Home

If you would like to see how your child is progressing with their multiplications on their TT Rockstars account, you can click on Me/My Stats. A heat map like the one below will load. It shows how successful your child is at each of the facts- the greener the colour the quicker they are and the redder the colour the slower they are. This is a great way to support at home and make sure that you are aware of your child’s multiplication knowledge.
